Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim; Yajuj and Majuj in Islam: Some of the ulama say that the word yajuj majuj is derived from the Arabic word aaj. Which means fast. When the Gog and Magog come out, they will spread all over the world very quickly. They are called Yajuz Majuz for their speed. According to some, the origin of the word Yajuz Majuz is from the Arabic word Mauz. Which means wave or wave. When the Gog and Magog come out of the earth, they will be so numerous that they will continue to run like waves and spread all over the world.
That is why they have been named after this. The correct word may be that today the word Yajuz is derived from the word Yajuz and the word Mauj from Mauj. Which means fast and waves. When Yajuz Majuz comes out, they will run very fast in the form of waves. That is why they have been named Yajuz Majuz.
The question that may come to mind is whether Gog and Magog are children of Adam. Yes, they are children of Adam, but what many commentators say is that they are caused by the semen of Adam’s nightmares. The truth is that one of the children of Noah (peace be upon him) whose name was Yaphas, his descendant is Gog and Magog. There is a lot of baseless talk about their shape. Which we should not listen to.
Allah the Almighty said,
When he finally reached the middle of the two mountain walls, he found people there who did not understand him at all. They said: O Zulkarnain! Gog and Magog have caused trouble in the land If you say so, we will impose some tax on you on the condition that you build a wall between us and them. He said: That which my Lord has given me is sufficient. So help me with your labor. I will build a strong wall between you and them. You bring me iron sheets.
When the empty space in the middle of the hill was finally filled, he said, “Keep breathing.” When it finally became fire, he said, “Bring me molten copper, and I will pour it on it.” Then Gog and Magog were not able to climb it, nor were they able to pierce it. Zulkarnain said That is the grace of my Lord. When the time of the promise of my Lord comes, He will crush it, and the promise of my Lord is true. I will release them in groups On that day, and the trumpet will be blown. Then We will bring them all together. Surah Al-Kahf verses 93-99.
From the verses,
it is clear that the people of Gog and Magog lived below the earth’s surface came the surface of the earth and caused unrest. Between the two mountain walls was their entrance, through which they ascended and re-entered. Because there are six more textures inside the earth. Allah, the Exalted, says: Allah has created the seven heavens, and the earth to the same extent, in which is revealed His Command, that you may know that Allah can do all things. We are living on the seventh land and maybe Yajuz Majuz is on the sixth land. So the countrymen told Zulkarnain, Gog, and Magog communities and built a wall between them to not come between them. The wall is basically a lid at the entrance. The people can’t ascend and cross Gog and Magog but Allah will deliver them from it at a certain time. And Allah knows best.
Imam Bukhari narrated,
A man said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), “I saw the wall of Gog and Magog.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, how did you see? He said like a gorgeous sheet. He said, another narration it was like a striped sheet, with one stripe and the other red. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘I have seen the same.’

He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Allaah will say, O Adam! He will say, O Lord! Luckily for me, I showed up. Then he will be called out aloud, “Verily, Allaah is instructing you to bring out a party from your descendants and bring them to Hell.” Adam (a) will say O Lord! What is the amount of hell? Allah Ta’ala will say that every thousand to nine hundred and ninety-nine, at this time a pregnant woman will have an abortion, the children will grow old and you will see people drunk; But they are not intoxicated. Indeed, the punishment of Allah is severe. [Later the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited this verse]. This seemed terrible to the people, and even their faces became pale.
Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Nine hundred and ninety-nine people per thousand will be taken from Gog and Magog and one of you. Again you will be compared to people like black fur on the side of a white cow or white fur on the side of a black cow. I hope, of course, You will be one-fourth of the dwellers of Paradise. (The narrator says) We all said happily, ‘Allahu Akbar’. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “You will be one-third of the people of Paradise.” We said, ‘Allahu Akbar’ . Then he said: You will be half of the dwellers of Paradise. We said, ‘Allahu Akbar’ . Sahih Bukhari.
The arrival of Yajuz Majuz is inevitable
Allah the Almighty said,
The inhabitants of the towns which I have destroyed must not return. Until Gog and Magog are released, they will hasten from every high place.
From this verse it is clear that the nations that were destroyed in the wrath of God, that is, those who died, will not return, that is, they will not live until Gog and Magog come out. And Allah Ta’ala will resurrect man on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore, it is clear that the Resurrection will not take place until Gog and Magog come out.

He said, “The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, peeked at us from one of his rooms.” We were talking about the Hour then. He said: The Hour will not come until the ten signs have been revealed. The sunrise from the west, the appearance of the Messiah Dajjal, the emission of smoke, the appearance of Dabbatul Ard, the appearance of Gog and Magog, the descent of Isa Ibn Maryam (as) (from the upper world), three landslides in the east, one in the west and one in the Arabian Peninsula, It will erupt from a well that will drive people to the Day of Judgment. If they sleep at night, the fire will stop, and if they continue, the fire will follow them (if they rest at noon, the fire will stop with them). —– Ibn Majah.

He said that one day when the Prophet (peace be upon him) woke up, his face was red. He began to say La ilaha illallah. After saying that three times, he said: The misfortune of the Arabs in the coming calamity. Today the wall of Gog and Magog is so wide. With this, he indicates a circle of ten numbers with his index finger and thumb. Zaynab (R) said I asked, O Messenger of Allah (SAW) will we be even if we have honest people? He said: Yes when wickedness spreads. —— Bukhari, Muslim Ibn Majah.

He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Surely Gog and Magog are digging tunnels every day. Even when they reach the point where they can see the light of the sun, their leader says, “Come back, we will finish the excavation tomorrow.” Then Allaah (in the night) restored the wall to its strength. When the time comes for them to come and Allah wants to send them into the human race, they will continue to dig. When they finally reach the point where they can see the sun, their leader will say, “Come back, Inshallah I will complete the remaining excavation work tomorrow.
They will use the word inshaAllah.
On that day they will return, and the wall will leave them in a state of disrepair. In this case, they will come out to the locality after finishing the excavation work and will finish drinking seawater. People will flee in fear and take refuge in the fort. They will shoot their arrows into the sky. It will return to them stained with blood. They will say, “We have defeated the people of the earth, and we have defeated the people of the heavens.” Then God will create a kind of worm around their necks. Insects will kill them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I swear by the great being in whose hand is my soul! The cattle on the surface will eat their meat and become fat and fleshy. —– Tirmizi.
We have subdued the inhabitants of the earth, and we have overcome the inhabitants of the heavens. Then God will create a kind of worm around their necks. Insects will kill them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I swear by the great being in whose hand is my soul! The cattle on the surface will eat their meat and become fat and fleshy. —– Tirmizi. We have subdued the inhabitants of the earth, and we have overcome the inhabitants of the heavens. Then God will create a kind of worm around their necks. Insects will kill them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: I swear by the great being in whose hand is my soul! The cattle on the surface will eat their meat and become fat and fleshy. —– Tirmizi.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Hajj and ‘Umrah of the House will be performed even after the Gog and Magog has left. —– Sahih Bukhari.
When will Yajuz Majuz come out
Gog and Magog will come out just before the Day of Resurrection. Many people think that Yajuz Majuz is out. According to them, the Tatars are Yajuz Majuz. But their idea is completely wrong.
God the Almighty said,
Zulkarnain said, “This is the grace of my Lord.” When the time of the promise of my Lord comes; He will crush it, and the promise of my Lord is true. On that day I will release them in groups in the form of waves and the trumpets will be blown. Then We will bring them all together. (Surah Al-Kahf verses 97 and 99)
Narrated from Nawas Ibn Samaan
Jesus Kill the Dajjal and then Allah will send revelation to him, “Take my servants to Mount Tur. Because I am sending down a group of servants against whom no one has the power to fight. He said, then Allah will send a group of Gog and Magog. According to the word of Allah, their condition is, “They will come running from every high place” (Surah Ambiya verse no. 98).
He said that their first group (Syria) would finish drinking all its water while crossing the Gulf of Tabaria. Then their expedition will end after reaching the mountain of Baitul Mukaddas. They will say to each other, “We destroyed the inhabitants of the earth. Now let’s destroy those who live in the sky. They will shoot their arrows at the sky. God will return their arrows stained with blood. Then Isa Ibn Maryam (AS) and his companions will be blocked. They will (in food) fall into such a difficult situation that then a cow’s head will seem better to them than a hundred dinars of this age.
He said, then Isa (AS) and his companions will turn to Allah and make dua.
Allah will then cause an epidemic called ‘Nagaf’ to plague the Gog and Magog forces. Then they will be destroyed as if a soul had died. Then Isa (PBUH) will come down (from the mountain) with his companions. He will not find such a place there, Where their rotten foul-smelling blood-flesh will not be scattered. Then he will pray to Allah with his companions. Then Allah will send a kind of bird with a long neck like the neck of a camel. That bird will pick up their bodies and throw them into a deep hole. The Muslims will use their abandoned arrows, bows, and chisels as fuel for seven years. Then Allah will send down rain which will reach all the houses, the land, and the hard soil. And the whole earth will be washed away and become like a mirror.
Then the guarantor will be told, “Take out your fruits and crops and return the blessings and goodness.” Then there will be a situation where one pomegranate will be enough for a group of people and a group of people will be able to take shelter under its shade. The milk will be so blessed that a camel’s milk for a large group, One cow’s milk for one tribe, and one goat’s milk for a small group will suffice. After a while, Allah will suddenly send a wind that will snatch away the souls of all the believers and only the wicked people will be left who will have sex with women like donkeys. Then the Hour will come upon them.
