There is no god but Allah, the Great, the Forbearing. There is no God except Allah, Lord of the Throne. And there is no god but Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth and the Lord of the Honored Throne.
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (RA):
He said, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say during difficult times: “La-ila-ha illallahul ‘Azeemul Halimu la-ila-ha illall-hu Rabbul ‘Arshil ‘Azeemi la-ila-ha illall-hu Rabbus Sama- Wa-ti wa rabbul arzy wa rabbul ‘arshil Kareem”, meaning – “There is no god but Allah, the Great, the Forbearing. There is no God except Allah, Lord of the Throne. And there is no god but Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth and the Lord of the Honored Throne.

لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa angta, subhanaka inni kungtu minaj j-limin.
There is no true god but You; You are pure, surely I belong to the wrongdoers.
On the authority of Saad Ibn Abi Waqqas (RA):
He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The supplication of the Prophet of Allah, Jun-Nun [Yunus (A.S.)] when he was in the belly of the fish, was, “La ilaha illa anta, subhanaka inni kungtu minajja-limin.” That is, “There is no god but You, You are most holy. Surely I am of the wrongdoers” – (Surah Ambiya 87). If any Muslim person ever makes this dua, Allah Ta’ala will accept his dua.
