Dua Hajat in Arabic. How to perform Salatul Hajat?
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, the topic of today’s discussion is Dua Hajat in Arabic and how to perform Salatul Hajat. The two Rakats of nafl salat performed for the purpose of Allah to fulfill a special legitimate need is called ‘Salatul Hajat’.
Ibn Majah H / 1375, Salat Chapter-2 Paragraph-189.
The servant will seek help from his Lord through patience and prayer to fulfill any need.
(Baqara 2/153).
Therefore, before returning the salutation after Tashahhud in the last meeting, he will recite the following essential prayers by bringing the necessary matters to his mind.
اللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Pronunciation: Alla-humma rabbana a-tina fiddunia hasanatao wafil akhirati hasanatao wa qbina aza-banna-ra).
Translation: O Allah! Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the torment of Hell.
Hazrat Anas (R) said Rasulullah (sm) used to recite this prayer most of the time.

When the prayer is recited in prostration, say, Allah-Humma a-tina ….
Because it is not possible to recite Quranic Doa in Ruku-Sajdah.

Hudhayfah (R) said Rasulullah (sm) used to pray whenever he was in trouble.

In this regard, the incident of Sarah, the wife of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) can be recalled. When he was abducted and taken to the lustful emperor of Egypt and the oppressive emperor approached him, he performed ablution and prayed, seeking refuge with God, saying,
اَللَّهُمَّ لاَ تُسَلِّطْ عَلَىَّ هَذَا الْكَافِرَ
Translation: O Allah! You do not make this disbeliever victorious over me.
Immediately Allah responded to his call and the liar’s limbs became numb. After failing three times, he honorably releases Bibi Sara and sends Hagar with him to Ibrahim for her service, along with valuable gifts.
