What is the meaning of Asma ul Husna?

The word Asmaul Husna is Arabic. The word Asma means “names” and the word Husna means “the most beautiful”. That is, Asma ul Husna means “most beautiful names”. And the source of all these beauties is Allah the Great. According to the Holy Quran and Hadith, Allah Almighty has many names. And its number is 99. Together, the beautiful names of Allah are called Asmaul Husna.

Almighty Allah says:

And for Allah belong all the good names. So call him by that name. And reject those who go astray in His name. They will get the results of their deeds soon. (Surah Al-A’raf 07: Verse No. 180)

Almighty God also says,

Call Allah or Rahman, by whatever name you call, all beautiful names belong to Him. (Surah Bani Israel 17: Verse No. 110)

On the authority of Abu Huraira (RA): He said, The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Allah has ninety-nine names, that is, one minus one hundred. The person who recites it will go to Paradise. They are:-
