The virtues and importance of Laylatul Qadr
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim; The topic of today’s discussion is the importance, and virtues of Laylatul Qadr. Some of the particular virtues of Laylatul Qadr have been mentioned in the Qur’an and Hadith.
Virtues of Laylatul Qadr
1. Laylatul Qadr has great dignity and greatness
Allah the Almighty has revealed the Qur’an on this night and a surah full of Quranic verses to describe the greatness and virtue of that night and that surah has also been named after him. God the Almighty said,
That is, I have revealed that Qur’an in Shabe Qadr. Do you know what Shabe Qadr is? Shab e Qadr is better than a thousand months. (Q96 / 1-3)
One thousand months equals 30,000 nights. That means the dignity of this night is more than 30,000 times! So it can be said that 1 Tasbeeh on this night is better than 30,000 Tasbeehs on other nights; Similarly, 1 Rakat of prayers on this night is better than 30,000 Rakats on other nights. Needless to say, this night’s Amal is better than the other 30,000 Amal without Shabe Kadar; So the person who worshiped on this night, in fact, worshiped for more than 63 years and 4 months.
2. Laylatul Qadr is the night of Mubarak, the most blessed, and auspicious night
Allah the Almighty said that is, I have sent down this Qur’an on a blessed night. (KU 44/3)
That blessed night is ‘Lailatul Qadr’ or Shabe Qadr, And Shab e Qadr is definitely in Ramadan. Needless to say, that night is not the night of Shabe Barat; As many think and worship in vain that night; Because the Qur’an (from Laohe Mahfuz) has been revealed (or its revelation has started) in the month of Ramadan. The Qur’an says,
The month of Ramadan; The month in which the Quran was revealed. (Q2/175)
And he said,
Verily, We have sent down this Quran on the Day of Resurrection. (Q96 / 1-3)
And it is known that Shabe Qadr is in Ramadan; Not in Shaban.
3. Laylatul Qadr is the night of destiny
This night is that fated night; So that every important matter is fixed. (Q4 / 4)
4. The angels are sent down
This is that night; That night the angels descended at the command of their Lord for every work. That is, they landed to carry out the work decided that night.
5. This night is the night of peace and tranquility
God the Almighty said,
He is peaceful till dawn. The whole night is full of peace, there is no unrest in it. This is the night of peace for the believing men and women who wake up at night. Satan cannot cause any unrest among them. Or that night is safe. Satan can’t cause any trouble that night. Or that night is the night of peace. The angels who descended on this night greeted the worshiping believers.
6. This night is the night of resurrection and forgiveness of sins
The Prophet (SM) said:
The person who observes Qiyam on the night of Shabe Qadr (praying) in faith and hoping for better, his previous sins are forgiven.

Needless to say, this night is the night of worship. This night is a night of drinking and drinking, not a happy night.
May Allah Ta’ala grant us the Tawfiq to understand things properly and to attain the virtue of Laylatul Qadr. Allahumma Amin.
