The fitna is more terrible than the fitna of the Dajjal
Today we will discuss a subject that is more dangerous than Dajjal’s fitna. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) warned us about this.
Narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: I will not press the matter, that matter to me Masih Ad-Dajjal than terrible? The Companions said: Yes. He said: That is secret shirk. ( For example) only for a man of his standing in prayer very well that realization, a man sees his prayer.
Ibn Majah Hadith No. 4204.
People fall into the temptation of secret shirk more easily; than the Dajjal will easily fall into the temptation of man.
Just as it would be very difficult to defend one’s faith by falling into the temptations of the Dajjal; it is even more difficult to save one’s faith from the temptations of secret shirk.
Just as people will easily lose their faith, be harmed, and perish by falling into the temptations of the Dajjal, that is, they will be driven to Hell.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
From the day when Allaah created the children of Adam, there is no greater fitnah on earth than the fitnah of the Dajjaal, and it will not happen until the Day of Resurrection. Again, the tradition says that the Prophet, secret shirk dangerous than Dajjal. In fact, the fitna of the Dajjal will come from the Dajjal, but secret shirk is created in the heart of man. This is the difference between Dajjal and secret shirk. The biggest fitna that comes from others or from outside is the fitna of the Dajjal and the secret shirk that is created within oneself is more terrible than the fitna of the Dajjal.
We know from the hadith that the fitna of the Dajjal is so much more horrible; than how horrible the secret shirk can be.
Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad gave an example of the hidden shirk, and the man who stood up for his only prayer is very nicely realization that, no man sees his prayer. Not only in the case of Salat but if any act of worship is performed for the purpose of pleasing Allah; even if it is a small part of the act of worship; even if the beauty of the act of worship is for someone else; and if it is not understood from outside, then it is secret shirk. And if it is understood from outside, then it is shirk. Hadith of the Prophet peace be upon him, as he warns us to beware of secret Shirk Allah Cut a rather more.
May Allah Ta’ala grant us the tawfiq to understand the issues properly and to stay away from secret shirk. Allahumma Amin.
