Dua for protection from dajjal’s fitna
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Dua for protection from dajjal’s fitna
Today we will discuss the prayer of survival from the fitna of Dajjal. The fitna of the Dajjal is great horrible fitna like the horrible fitna from the beginning of creation till the Day of Resurrection. So the Prophet (SM) used to pray to Allah to protect him from the temptations of the Dajjal, and the Prophet (SM) taught us that prayer as well.
Narrated from Abu Hurairah
He said, “The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘When one of you recites Tashahhud in Salat, you will pray for protection from four things.’ He will make dua by saying: I seek refuge from Hell, from the torment of the grave, from the fitnah of life and death, and from the fitnah of the Messiah ad-Dajjal.
Sahih Muslim 1211
Narrated from Abu Hurairah
He said that the Prophet (SM) used to supplicate, O Allaah! I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, from the punishment of Hell; from the fitnah of life and death, and from the fitnah of the Messiah ad Dajjal.
Sahih Bukhari 138
protection from dajjal’s fitna
Narrated by Abu Darda The Prophet (SM) said: Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah al-Kahf will be safe from the fitnah of the Dajjal.
Sahih Muslim 17
Narrated from Nawas Ibn Samaan
The Prophet (SM) said: Whoever of you finds the Dajjaal should recite the first part of Surah al-Kahf against him.
Qudsi 162 in Sahih Hadith
From these hadiths, we understand two things.
One is that the prayer should be recited regularly after reciting tashahhud in the prayer. However, there is another narration that the prayer should be recited after Tashahhud at the last meeting.
And the second thing is that the person who finds the Dajjal should recite the first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf against the Dajjal. Then Allah Ta’ala will protect him from the temptations of Dajjal InshaAllah.
May Allah Ta’ala grant us the Tawfiq to understand; and act properly, and protect us from the temptations of the Dajjal. Allahumma Amin.
